I have done more than any Imo governor over the years – Sen. Rochas Okorocha
Senator Rochas Okorocha representing Imo West Senatorial district has stated that he has single-handedly accrued more achievements during his tenure as Imo state governor than any other governor.
The former governor decried that ‘he Rochas is one one the most misunderstood individuals in the country’ while speaking on Channels TV’s ‘Newsnight’.
Rochas hinged being misunderstood on the feedback he gets from people who define him from different angles. He also claimed that no past or present Governor of Imo State is yet to do one-tenth of the projects he embarked.
He said; “I wish you can meet the governor of Imo state (Emeka Ihedioha) and ask that Rochas said what he has done is not up to one-tenth of what I have done, or other governors put together have done.
“The first international cargo airport in Imo state, I built it and it was adjudged the best in the country by FAAN.
“I built 30 hospitals, some of them completed, while most are not completed, but they have all the roofs, tiled, except equipping; I built one of the best state high court, the best prison, the best police headquarters
“I know my nature, I am highly misunderstood in this country, and some people define me from different angles. If I do one-tenth of what the governor is doing there, the whole world will hear about it.”

PDP takes protest to US, UK as protesters demands CJN resignation  The National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus, on Friday, led other party chieftains in a protest march to the American Embassy and the British High Commission in Abuja. Protest letters were separately delivered to officials of the US Embassy and the Brith High Commission by Secondus who sought the intervention of the two countries in the matter. Oil Prices Fires Up As China Increase U.S. Crude Imports

 Oil prices rose on Monday as China ’s plans to ship in large volumes of U.S . crude in August and September outweighed concerns over a slowdown in demand recovery after the coronavirus pandemic and an uptick in supplies. Brent crude added 30 cents, or 0.7 per cent to $45.10 a barrel by 0410 GMT while U.S . West Texas Intermediate crude was up 34 cents, or 0.8 per cent to $42.35 a barrel. Chinese state-owned oil firms have tentatively booked tankers to transport at least 20 million barrels of U.S. crude for August and September, Reuters reported on Friday. This is as China ramped up energy and farm purchases ahead of a review of the Sino-U.S. trade deal. Record crude imports from the world’s top importer and the easing of COVID-19 restrictions globally have supported oil prices.
