FG recovered over N800bn looted fund___ Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, on Tuesday, said the present regime has recovered looted funds in excess of N800bn.

He said the regime also recorded over 1,400 convictions.
Mohammed said this at a press conference in Abuja.

He said, “This administration’s fight against corruption is as strong as ever, and we have the records to back up this claim.

“This administration has recorded over 1,400 convictions, including high profile ones, and recovered funds in excess of N800bn, not to talk of forfeiture of ill-gotten properties.

IJI WARNS APC AGAINST INDIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION IN ONDO. NIGERIA’S AMBASSADOR TO TOGO, OLUSOLA IJI, HAS THREATENED TO SUE THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) IF IT USES THE INDIRECT PRIMARY MODE TO ELECT ITS GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE IN ONDO STATE, WITHOUT ADHERING TO THE PARTY’S CONSTITUTION. South-South caucus vows to resist plots to remove Oshiomhole The South-South caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned that it would resist any attempt by forces within the party that are working to remove the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the party. The caucus, which made the during a meeting called by the Vice National Chairman (South-South) of the party, Hillard Eta, in Abuja, also passed a vote of confidence on Oshiomhole, even as it appointed the Deputy Senate President as the leader of the party in the South-South region.
